The court review the papers under the category which you have submitted your papers. Different categories have different rules and limitations. Depending on these rules and limitations, the court decides whether to declare you bankrupt or not. In some cases, if you have filed under the wrong category or if you have left out some information, then the court rejects your bankruptcy application. In some cases the court might not find you fit enough to file for bankruptcy and it all depends on what the courts decision is in the first place.
An appeal for bankruptcy means that you are asking the court to consider the application once more. In which case it would also mean that you are going to make some changes to your application by either changing the category or resubmitting the relevant information. This happens several times and also many times the appeal gets granted.
